The man behind McDonald's french fries, Edwin Traisman, died Tuesday at the age of 91.
Mr. Traisman was found in his home peacefully wilting under a heat lamp. Efforts to revive Traisman by sticking him in a low temp oven for a few minutes were unsuccessful.
"He led a super-sized life," said Traisman's wife. "Everyone wanted to know his secret to longevity, and Edwin always said,'the trick is in carefully controlling water content prior to the freeze-drying process.'"
According to his wishes, Traisman's remains will be deep fried and dipped in ketchup before being dropped into that little space between the driver's seat and the gear shifter.
Fast food icon Pizza Hut is rebranding a significant portion of itschain as "The Hut" to appear more in touch with younger consumers. Inaddition, all of Pizza Hut's food will now be served undercover intrendier restaurants.

Police have been looking for a disgruntled McDonald's customer who ran into two other customers with her car after a dispute over who was next in line. Melinda Ann Thomas, 34, and Linda Ann Thomas, 51, were standing in a crowded line. A cashier opened a new line and they stepped to the front of it-a move that angered another customer who was waiting to order.
As the Thomas' made their way to their car, witnesses said the woman pulled out of her parking space and sped toward the women, striking them both with her Jeep.
