"Three Questions" joke

The president of this big university was walking down the campus when he noticed this young fellow
walking around and talking to himself. Being a responsible president, he stopped by to have a chat
with the young man.
"Good morning, young man. What seems to be the problem? Can I be of any assistance?" asked the
president. The young student looked at him and said, "Well I do not know. Maybe you can tell me why I
am doing so poorly in this school."
Being a responsible president, he could not be happier to talk to the young man. "How long have you
been at this school?" asked the president. "This is my fourth semester." answered the student. "Well,
that is great. How many credits have you earned so far and what is your GPA?" asked president. "Well
that is where my problem actually is. I have earned zero credits and my GPA is also zero." replied
the student. Obviously shocked, the president asked, "Have you been missing classes or maybe not
attending the school?" "No sir. I have never missed a class. I just do not know why teachers never
give proper credits to my answers." replied the student.
Of course the president did not want to hear that his faculty just spent their time doing research
and not care about the welfare of the students. "Son, I am the president of this university and I am
going to get to the bottom of this. In the meantime I am going to ask you some questions to see why
everybody disagree with your answers. Ready?" Asked the president. "No problem." answered the young
man.
"I will give you three questions," said the president. "If you answer them all correctly, I will talk
to your teachers."
"Fair enough!" said the student eagerly. The president proceeded, "Here are your questions. First,
how many days are there in a week that start with the letter' T'? Second, how many seconds are there
in a year? And third, how many d's are there in' Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer?'"
The student smiled feeling all confident that he knew the right answers. So again the president said,
"So how many days in the week that start with' T'?" The student said, "Two!"
"Very good!" said the president. And what are they?" "Today and Tomorrow!" answered the student.
"Hmm... OK," said the president. "How many seconds are there in a year?"
"Twelve!"
"Twelve? How did you come up with twelve?" The president was perplexed.
"Well," said the student, "there's the second of January, the second of February, the second of..."
"Um.. OK," broke in the president. "How many d's in' Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer?'"
"Oh, that is easy!" laughed the young man. "Three hundred and sixty-five!"
"WHAT?" cried the president. "How did you get that figure?" To which the student sang,
"Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer dee dee dee-dee-dee dee-dee...."
