The Rocky Mountains are very big and far apart. It takes a long time for an echo to bounce back off one of these mountains. One night, a camper in the Rockies went to sleep early. But before climbing into his sleeping bag he yelled, Time to get up. And eight hours later the echo came back and woke him up!
It was Rocky's first night in the penitentiary. All of the inmates were in their cells and he was trying to become a bit more comfortable with his meager surroundings. As he leaned against the bars at the front of his cell, Rocky heard a voice call out "44" and the whole cell block erupted into laughter! Another voice called "16" and again there was laughter. A third voice called "62" which was followed by laughter throughout the block. Rocky didn't know what was going on so he rapped on his cell wall. "Yeah, whaddaya want?" came the gruff reply from next door. "What's going on, here?" asked Rocky. "Well," said the other inmate, "down in the prison library there's only one joke book. We've all read the book so many times that we don't waste time telling the joke, we just call out it's number." So the next day Rocky went down to the library and, sure enough, found r the yellowed, dog-eared joke book and read it from more...
Little Johnny was out on Halloween, trick-or-treating; dressed as "Rocky", complete with boxing gloves and satin shorts. He walked up to Mr. and Mrs. Foggybottom's door and rang the bell. Mrs. Foggybottom answered the door and Johnny said, "Trick or Treat!" Mrs. Foggybottom gave Johnny some candy and closed the door. Soon afterwards the bell rang again. It Little Johnny once more. "Aren't you the same' Rocky' who left my doorstep several minutes ago?" asked Mrs. Foggybottom. "Yes," he replied, "but now I'm the sequel. I'll be back three more times tonight, too."
It turns out Sylvester Stallone is planning one more Rocky movie. The finale of the franchise will be Rocky: 65. In it, our aging hero fights cuts to Medicare spending!
