"Waiting for our coffee" joke

The late ASP Iyer, ICS, was president of the prestigious Music Academy of Madras. For the Annual Day of the Academy, Mr. Keskar, the then Minister for Information & Broadcasting was invited to preside. The Hon'ble Minister came in one full hour behind schedule and began with profuse apologies for being late. He began, "You must be all waiting for me..." Said ASP Iyer, "Please do not worry, Sir, we were waiting for our coffee."
