Solution to two of the world's problems: Feed the homeless to the hungry.

A biotechnology company has developed a new way of creating stem cells, billing it as a potential solution to a contentious political and ethical debate. Robert Lanza, of Advanced Cell Technology, said the solution was simple, "We are going to continue our research as normal, we're just not going to tell Republican what we we're doing. We're going to tell them we're making freedom cells."

Experiment 8 Postflight Summary
NASA publication 14-307-1792
-------------------------------------------------------

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this experiment was to prepare for the expected participation in long-term space based research by husband-wife teams once the US space station is in place. To this end, the investigators explored a number of possible approaches to continued marital relations in the zero-G orbital environment provided by the XXXXXX shuttle mission.

Our primary conclusion is that satisfactory marital relations are within the realm of possibility in zero-G, but that many couples would have difficulty getting used to the approaches we found to be most satisfactory.

The more...

I don't have a solution, but I admire the problem.

Silver Nitrate
(to the tune of "Silver Bells")
Silver nitrate, silver nitrate
it's chemistry time in the lab
Ding-a-ling, with a copper ring
soon it will be chemistry day.
Take your nitrate, in solution
Add your copper with style
In the beaker there's a feeling of reactions
silver forming, blue solution
Bringing ooh's ah's and wows
now the data procesing begins.
Get the mass, change to moles
what is the ratio with copper?
Write an equation, balance it
we're glad it's Chemistry Day.
