Dear Mom and Dad, It has now been three months since I left for college. I have been remiss in writing this and I am very sorry for my thoughtlessness in not having written before. I will bring you up to date now, but before you read on, please sit down. YOU ARE NOT TO READ ANY FURTHER UNLESS YOU ARE SITTING DOWN. OKAY! Well then, I am getting along pretty well now. College Dorm
On the first day of college, the Dean addressed the
students, pointing out
some of the rules: "The female dormitory will be
out-of-bounds for all
male students, and the male dormitory to the female

caught breaking this rule will be fined $20 the first

"Anybody caught breaking this rule the second time
will be fined $60.
Being caught a third time will cost you a fine of
$180. Are there any
questions?"
At this point, a male student in the crowd inquired:
"How much for a

Good. I am getting along pretty well now. The skull fracture and the concussion I got from jumping out of the window of my dormitory when it caught fire, shortly after my arrival, are pretty well healed now. I only spent two weeks in the hospital and now I can see almost normally and only get three headaches a day.
